Do I need DJ experience to start?
No. Most students start as beginners. We teach step by step and build confidence from the first session.
What equipment do I need?
For in person lessons, everything is provided. For virtual lessons, we help you choose a simple setup that fits your budget.
Who are lessons for?
We work with kids, teens, and adults. Most students start around age 6 and up.
Do you offer group classes?
Yes. Group classes build confidence, teamwork, timing, and performance skills in a supportive environment.
How much do lessons cost?
We offer trial lessons, single sessions, and packages. Visit our Programs page for full pricing.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Payment plans are available for larger packages. Reach out and we will walk you through options.
Can families use Self Direction or OPWDD funding?
We are not currently a formal vendor, but some families may still use Self Direction depending on their plan. We can provide documentation if needed.
Do you support students with different learning needs?
Yes. SpinLab is built around inclusion. Lessons are adapted for different learning styles, communication needs, and comfort levels.
Where are lessons offered?
We offer lessons in Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island, and virtually.
Do you partner with schools or organizations?
Yes. We work with schools, camps, and community programs to bring DJ education to students.
